“Chalakudikkaran Changathi” first look out: Rajamani as Kalabhavan Mani
The film “Chalakkudikkaran Changathi”, directed by Vinayan, has been inspired by the late Kalabhavan Mani’s life. The membrane is not full a biopic of Kalabhavan Mani but takes inspirations from the interval Mani obtain against all chances to succeed in life.
The poster indicates actor Rajamani – who plays Kalabhavan Mani in the film. Venturing out of the driver’s seat of an autorickshaw, wearing a khaki shirt and a bright red mundu.
Vinayan collaborated with Kalabhavan Mani for “Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum” and several other critically applause films. The actor also went on to Triumph the Special Jury Award in 2000 for “Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum” and Kerala State Film award for his role in the same film in 1999. The several – faceted actor passed away on March 6, 2016, aged 45.
Kalabhavan Mani commences his career as a mic mimicry artist with the drama group Cochin Kalabhavan. He started his acting career in the Malayalam film Aksharam as an auto rickshaw driver. He performed many comic roles in Malayalam films which later moved to character and villain roles.
His first leading role was in the film “Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum”. He cast as the leading part in movies like “Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum”, “Karumadikuttan”, “Ben Johnson”, “Ayirathil Oruvan”, “Valkannadi”, “Lokanathan IAS”, “Kerala Police”, “Red Salute” etc. His first music album was (Thushima Guntharo) Kannimanga Prayathil. He has also released a few spiritual songs and Mappila Pattukal.
Debutant Senthil Krishna Raja Mani bespangles in the subject role of the movie which also features Honey Rose, Salim Kumar, Joju George, Joy Mathew, Sunil Sugatha and Ramesh Pisharody in other key roles.
Honeyrose’s new look in the film “Chalakudikaran Changathi” has been created quite a flutter. The actress looks in a period look, for the first time in her career.
