Vijay’s performance: Mersal movie review
Ilayadalapathy Vijay is the hero who is fighting against injustice. Just like in countless such pictures, he is also a savior in Mersal. Vijay is terrific in the film. Vijay plays triple roles Magician Vetri, Doctor Maaran and Vetrimaran. Playing triple roles is like acting in three different movies. What is more even challenging for Vijay here is, he plays three characters that he has never tried before. For the first time, Vijay will be seen in three different roles as a village man, a magician, and a doctor. Vijay has of course done justice to all the three roles. The action thriller tries to expose the corruption rooted in the health industry.
Mersal begins with the kidnapping of a few individuals and the arrest of an International award-winning doctor Maaran (Vijay). The investigating officer Rathnavel (Sathyaraj) believes that doctor Maaran is the mastermind. The story of the film begins with Maaran, Maaran is known as ‘5 Rupees doctor’ who wants to serve his people by charging just Rs 5 from his patients. But there are many mysterious secrets surrounded by Maran. Mersal’s story develops at its disguise. The movie which satisfies Vijay fans.
The film directed by Atlee, A.R Rahman composes music for the movie and Thenandal Studio Limited is the Production Company. The writer of Baahubali-2, Vijayendra Prasad has once again scored with his storyline.
Mersal may well have suspected that Vijay’s experiments with his future political entry. Vijay in his punch dialog has included GST, children’s death in Gorakhpur and the ban on the note.
